Lifted Gaze

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

Whether we’re living in manifested promise or experiencing the opportunity for trust at its sweetest, the lifted gaze will enable and empower the enablement and preservation of all that has been prepared for those who love Him. Rather than being depressed by the misguiding messages on the deceivers’ placards, the condition of our spirit can be defined by the joy and peace produced by the message of grace. Always on the way and in great measure is a sufficiency that is greater than all our sin and its judgment of destruction. It will be one for the record books as the Creator demonstrates a favor without merit by producing a victory through us where there had once only been the possibility of defeat.

The Prize

Heb 12:1-2 (WEY) Therefore, surrounded as we are by such a vast cloud of witnesses, let us fling aside every encumbrance and the sin that so readily entangles our feet. And let us run with patient endurance the race that lies before us, 2 simply fixing our gaze upon Jesus, our Prince Leader in the [...]

Heb 11:39 And these all, having had witness borne to them through their faith, received not the promise, 40 God having provided some better thing concerning us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect. That’s pretty cool. We get to be on the same team as all those Bible-mentioned heroes. It’s our [...]

No Procrastination

10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. Mark 1:10-12 [...]

Holding

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

14 For we have, all alike, become sharers with Christ, if we really hold our first confidence firm to the End; Heb 3:14 (WEY) Almost sounds like financial counsel- if you just hold these shares through all the difficult times there will be a great payoff in the end. How sad it will be, however, [...]

Transformed Song

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? 2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. 3 But thou art holy, O thou that [...]

Judges 7:7 BBE  And the Lord said to Gideon, By those three hundred who were drinking with their tongues I will give you salvation and give the Midianites into your hands; let the rest of the people go away, every man to his place. Here was a man who, a short time ago couldn’t be [...]

Never Changed

Judges 6:1 KJV  And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years. Judges 6:6-7 KJV  And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.  (7)  And it came to pass, [...]

Partake Together

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

…ye all are partakers with me of grace. Phil 1:7 (ASV) While Paul was the star, the one with the great revelation, and the leader of major think tanks of the early church, there was an understanding that went with him wherever he went, that everything he gained, everything he experienced in the way of [...]

Self Encouragement

Monday, August 10th, 2009

1 Samuel 30:6 KJV  And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. There is a time when it is most critical that the focus [...]
