Relationship Empowered 2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. For some reason He's seen something He likes. And, it doesn't really matter in what condition we perceive ourselves to be, He still sees a treasure that is full of potential and incredible purpose. Drawn to what He's seen with an unsurpassed passion, He's gone beyond just a positive observation to an actively imparted favor. From His infinite resources He's provided all that will ever be needed for that potential to be realized and for a joyful life of abundance to be enjoyed. All that's required for His desire to be realized has nothing to do with perfected actions or accumulation of sufficient knowledge or understanding on the part of the object of His passion. The only thing prohibiting the completion of His plan is our acceptance of Him in a relationship that places Him before any other. The way for this to take place has even been provided in the gift of His only Son, Jesus. By simply accepting His presence and submitting to a life of freedom, access is made to the wonderful life of communion with the Father. In this relationship is the acceptance of not only His Lordship, but the reception of His goodness in imparted favor, which was always His design. He has always desired for us to live in victory and power over every stronghold of the mind and flesh. He has wanted for us to operate in the power to be prosperous in everything our hand might touch. He has purposed for us to live beyond our own needs to the point that we could provide an avenue of His favor to so many others in need. The beginning has taken place with the initial amazing grace that brought new life to the heart. But, there is a great need for his grace to continue to abound toward us in the knowledge of, and fellowship with our Savior. The full power of the Almighty awaits only our choice to worship Him in complete devotion and surrender. Far greater than anything given up is the fulfillment of His divine purpose for our life.
