Online Manual Psa 119:100 I've become wiser than the wise old sages simply by doing what you tell me. It's all there. Everything's been included in the package. No one has been shorted or given lesser quality parts. Even though it may not make any sense all spread out in separate bags, it will come together as the steps in the instructions are followed exactly. There may be a problem, though, if the directions are not found and utilized from the start. Even though it may appear to be incredibly obvious how it should go together, if there is a little part here or there that is left out of its designed sequence, the project may never reach completion. Appointed assembler-for-life, the role of the father on Christmas day is pretty much established. He might as well just bring his toolbox to the early gathering around the tree and plan on being occupied with toy assembly through most of the morning. For some reason a large percentage of toys are just boxes full of parts that require a portion of a father's life in order to look and operate as advertised. Just wanting to get this done before the football game starts, the temptation is great for dad to just start putting stuff together, without including the time consuming task of manual reading. If dad has already assembled the same exact toy or if he is mechanically inclined, there is a chance of quickly pleasing the waiting child and getting on to other things. However, if there has been a critical step left out due to hasty and ill- informed assembly, this little project could turn into a very lengthy job. If everything has to be taken apart and the instructions have to be pulled out of the trash, this possibly simple task can be turned into a very frustrating exercise for both child and parent. Maybe I'm just revealing my own experience in this and it's never been a problem for any other dad, but I have found out that, for this dad, the first item to be found in a toy's box is the instructions. I've nothing to prove anymore in showing how I can do it alone, and I've learned that the quickest and most consistent way to getting the job done is to just begin with the first step and carefully follow every subsequent one to the smallest detail. I believe it is possible for the most clueless person to be just as successful as the brainy engineer at completing the project. If he uses the instructions and the engineer does not, he could even do the better job. It's all about having and using the instructions. There is a type of instructional manual that has come into existence with the use of computers. It's called an online manual and it's really cool because it allows you to quickly find the information you need by just doing a simple word search. Highlighted words are also included that will take you to a related topic when you click on them. There is a time when the toys evolve from the boxed parts of Christmas mornings to the complicated and extended projects of mechanics, business, music, construction, etc. that require a much more lengthy and detailed manual. The online version of this can be so helpful in that you can easily find the part that pertains to your present position and need. You don't have to read through the whole document before getting to the section that deals with your situation. Also, what's cool about this online manual is that it remains right on the computer where it can be quickly and reliably accessed. When the "toy" is a computer application, getting all its parts together is made so much easier with this manual accessible from right inside the program. The possibilities are endless in learning and applying the information provided in the online manuals. Even though they are always there waiting to be easily accessed, they, like the Christmas toy instructions, will need to be the first thing that is found and used extensively. They are often written in such a way that a completely unknowing person can learn and apply the information to achieve whatever is desired. They can impress even the experts with what they are able to accomplish. 1Co 2:15 Spiritually alive, we have access to everything God's Spirit is doing, and can't be judged by unspiritual critics. 1Co 2:16 Isaiah's question, "Is there anyone around who knows God's Spirit, anyone who knows what he is doing?" has been answered: Christ knows, and we have Christ's Spirit. We've been given all the necessary parts. Nothing has been left out. Everyone has equal opportunity to get his or her project of life together and begin enjoying it. And, included in each package is the most important part - the online manual. This manual was placed inside of us at our new birth and immediately became accessible for learning how to successfully progress through this Christ life. Although there is no way to absorb or contain all of its contents mentally, it is quite easy to go to just the right section that will deal with the particular area of difficulty. It is quite possible for anyone, from the most brilliant to the more simple, to successfully progress through this life and find great fulfillment in the completed project. The only difficulty in this will be when the manual, or the spirit, isn't utilized from the start. It may seem to be very obvious how everything should be assembled, but, without carefully observing the instruction of the spirit, something will most certainly be left out. If there is a continual need to take everything apart and start again, the completion of our project could be greatly delayed, even possibly beyond this lifetime. It's all about first finding this online manual of the spirit and following its every directive to the smallest detail. By the spirit, the way has truly been made to not only discover the power and pleasure of our own life experience, but to find purpose in offering this online manual to others. Everyone must know about the goodness of a completed life in Christ, and the more we progress in our life in Him, the more this will be our driving purpose, to let them know. What a joy to know Him. What an honor to worship Him. What an advantage to access the wealth of understanding in our online spirit manual. And, what an incredible fulfillment of purpose in taking Christ to all who are yet waiting for assembly of their life's parts. 5/19/04
