Living Psa 119:13 I'll transfer to my lips all the counsel that comes from your mouth; Psa 119:14 I delight far more in what you tell me about living than in gathering a pile of riches. Psa 119:15 I ponder every morsel of wisdom from you, I attentively watch how you've done it. Psa 119:16 I relish everything you've told me of life, I won't forget a word of it. Everyone moving and breathing is a participant in the application of life. There wasn't a choice we got to make in where we would go, how we would look, or who we'd be with, we were just automatically included in the roster upon our birth into this world. We didn't get to pick out the tools that we would use and the strengths that would be ours. From the point we got started in this, though, there was an opportunity given equally to us all to take whatever was given to us and beat every single challenge. There was a way given to press past any racial, gender, financial, physical, mental, and emotional barriers to win every time. We could arrive at the end with our bank full and every space occupied with houses and hotels. The reality of this truth is without question as there are thousands and millions of lives that could be shown as examples- these people were born with incredible disadvantages and yet pressed past all those things to become completely fulfilled in living the life that was uniquely theirs to live. Though there may be different levels of significance in gauging their success by the world's standards, they took what they were given and applied themselves to its full potential. For anyone to do this, however, to make it to the end successfully, there must be knowledge gained and skills developed. Whether it be the mind of Einstein or that of a simpleton, applying the knowledge gained, no matter its volume, is the common ingredient in those who have lived their life successfully. There is, however, a living that goes beyond the worldly definitions and descriptions of successful living. This living is one that finds an eternal purpose in utilizing everything given to it. In this life there is no end to how far one might go in learning and mastering its depth and significance. Like any life, though, this one will only experience fullness to the level there is knowledge of it. In acquiring this understanding there is a need to hang out with someone who knows all about it and start gaining as much information as possible from help books. Like learning the capabilities of a certain software program, there is a great need to be shown how by someone who has mastered it our by going down to Border's and getting a "____ for Dummies" book. Just having plenty of power in the computer's specs and the software already installed isn't enough. There has to be a transmission of understanding that takes place, equipping with the ability to actually discover the potential of that application. Until there is emulation of the master or following of directions from the "Dummy" book, there can be no enjoyment of fulfilling the purpose of the software. Our lives are hid with God in Christ. We have been entered into the abundant life in Christ. An application of great purpose and power has been installed into our system and we've been given the potential to take everything that defines our present state of being and use it to fulfill a divine purpose. Though there is no end to the depths of its ability to function, there will be no progress made towards those depths in this life until there is an acceptance of understanding from the Source of knowledge. And, this acceptance is really not complete until there is action demonstrating; that changes have been welcomed and implemented. Until His words become ours and until his movements are the ones we naturally make, our experience in Him will remain shallow. As He becomes our passion and knowing Him our obsession we will begin to experience this incredible life and its abundance. As we savor and meditate on everything that comes from His mouth we will know a delight in living that only comes from knowing and emulating the Master. He is unfailing in imparting knowledge of this life and there can be found in every moment that includes Him a wonderful discovery of fulfilled purpose. For this day there is an available place of peace and great confidence in the applied life of abundance. The only way of being found in this place, though, will be in letting our lips form His words and our movements be His, discovering what they are in His Word and in His presence. In this day there may be significant progress made towards our fulfilled purpose. May our words, movements, meditations and our fellowship in Him take us ever closer to that desired end. Col 2:9 Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don't need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. Col 2:10 When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything. 4/27/04
