Discovery


Psa 29:1  A David psalm. Bravo, GOD, bravo! Gods and all angels shout, "Encore!" 

Psa 29:2  In awe before the glory, in awe before God's visible power. Stand at attention! 
	
	Dress your best to honor him! 



	Everything about God is performance related and He is ever at work, 

producing another production of unequaled brilliance and wonder. We have never 

really even begun to be exposed to the full extent of what He is capable and there will 

be no end to what He has yet to conceive and complete in His awesome productions. 

The expanse of His influence is so very great as His glory covers not only the whole 

earth, but the universe as well. To live in Him is to have not just season, but eternal 

tickets to the best show in the universe. Really hanging out with Him is an unending 

discovery of another display of His divine inspiration and creative power. 

	Entertainment and creativity has been an important part of human existence 

from the beginning of time. Children watched, spellbound, as a story was told by the 

drawing of figures on the wall of a cave. Singers, dancers, and storytellers developed 

their skills with the purpose of capturing their audience by the wonder of their ability 

or creativity. There has been a steady development of tools and machines that could 

perform tasks with ease and efficiency. How proud the person must have been who 

first formed a wheel and used it for moving things. There has definitely been a 

progression of what it takes to actually impress or cause wonder and there's no doubt 

this impression will just continue. The first black and white animations and movies 

were so awesome to everyone who first watched them, but they soon become "old 

stuff" as color was added and the ability to produce incredible special effects created 

the greater impression. It has gone from that point to where the most impressive 

production can be viewed with surround sound as you are made to experience the 

story as if you were almost there yourself. This progression of creative impression 

will surely continue as the promise of fame and wealth will be motivation for ever 

higher achievement. 

	Represented in each moment of performed human creativity is the influence 

of the Great Creator and the One who has written and designed for every scene in 

this massive production of the human story. His touch and His presence can be seen 

in the whole setting of nature, and in each bold attempt at impressive performance 

by the smallest to the greatest of performers there is evidence of the creative nature 

of the heavenly Father. There is in each life the potential of this creative progression 

and the ability to ever increase in the discovery of greater wonders. Though it may 

seem that life becomes mundane and void of interest or wonder, though everything 

may seem to be "old stuff", there awaits yet another impressive exposure to an awe 

inspiring performance for the one who is willing to press towards the glory and be 

found in their "eternity seats". It will be the ultimate extreme experience of real life 

discovery.    

	This all may seem a bit lofty and dream-like, but there is a very practical and 

deliberate purpose in the reality of this truth. As we allow ourselves to be continually 

impressed with the wonder of His glory and taken to a new level of fulfillment in 

Him, we become established in a place of impenetrable strength and peace. By ever 

discovering new places of wonder in Him all the things of the world that would divert 

and waylay are made to be the "old stuff" of little significance and our faith is secure 

in our Rock of discovery.    


Psa 29:10  Above the floodwaters is GOD's throne from which his power flows, from 

	which he rules the world. 

Psa 29:11  GOD makes his people strong. GOD gives his people peace.
